Hungry anyone? From exciting upstarts to culinary masters, Moroccan chefs are elevating their hometown cuisine on an international level. Whether you’re looking for easy-to-follow recipes or visual eye-candy, we’re dishing out our favorite foodie accounts to follow right now.

Run by Nargisse Benkabbou, My Moroccan Food is the most consistently mouth-watering foodie account we’ve stumbled across. Full of seasonal fare, vegan options, midweek dinner ideas, simple tagines and almond-infused treats. Nargisse’s style is approachable and her recipes manageable even for newbies.

From gorgeous dinner spreads to ingredient closeups, Najat shares her long-documented love of food for all. The TV presenter, chef and activist prescribes food as medicine for living well. "Moroccan' is something you carry with you, that's inside you, that's a feeling,” she told Vice in 2016. “It's not a discussion of the neighbor or the mayor. It's something very personal, like religion—something that doesn't need to be explained to anyone. I don't have an identity issue—I am Moroccan."

The Marrakech-born executive chef own an eponymous, Michelin-starred restaurant based in San Francisco. Mourad cooks traditional Moroccan dishes, using locally sourced California ingredients in a unique fusion of Old World and New.

This Moroccan TV chef just debuted a line of Moroccan and Mediterranean spices in September 2020. Hanane’s sumptuous feed is filled with tasty plates and behind-the-scenes snaps from her busy life backstage, developing recipes.

Moroccan-born pastry chef and former Masterchef contestant, Ilham is highly esteemed on the international stage. She has worked all over Europe, even opening her own bakery in the Alsace region of France. Her feed is a shrine to sugar: oozy, crunchy, creamy, chocolatey confections that are sprinkled with cinnamon or dotted with nuts.
